Stena Line are committed to providing customers with a safe, efficient and reliable service on all our routes across the Irish Sea route network.
Unfortunately, quay congestion due to trailers not being collected within the agreed time scales has an impact on the efficiency of the disembarkation and loading of the vessels which makes it difficult to maintain schedules and continue to offer the reliability of the service we know our customers need to provide for their customers. The sheer volume of imports not being collected is at risk of becoming a major Health & Safety issue and we need you to play a part to ensure this does not happen.
We must request that all trailers are collected from ALL terminals as quickly as possible so we can maintain schedules, reduce delays for drivers dropping and collecting trailers and create space for the efficient and safe turnaround of vessels. In particular, all inbound traffic needs to be collected as soon as possible from our Liverpool (Birkenhead) terminal.
Please note we will be unable to accept new bookings from customers with long standing trailers on quay until these trailers are collected.
We would like to thank you for your continued support and appreciate your help in removing trailers as promptly as possible from all Stena Line terminals.
