We have been advised that as from September 1st (today) ONLY original Health or Sanitary Certificates will be accepted by the authorities in France (SIVEP).

Up until the 31st August SIVEP in France had accepted copies of Health or Sanitary Certificates.

What does that mean in practice?

If there is a mistake on the original health certificate, or if the certificate is a copy, the vehicle will not be allowed to leave the port until an original/correct health certificate is received by the SIVEP.

Non presentation of the original/correct certificate will result in vehicles being held at the port which could cause considerable delays for your driver and delivery schedule.

We are informed there will be no exceptions.
